About us.

We want to empower people to reach their true potential through performance, accountability, community, education.

Our 4 Key Pillars.

1. Performance

In our experience, the fitness industry has become so focused on how we look aesthetically and the newest and best “quick fix” program. While we recognise the appearance and how we look is still very important to people, we believe that having a performance goal (whether that is lifting a certain weight, running a particular distance or moving pain free) acts as the anchor and focus for our clients with their training and therefore the other things (such as physical body composition changes) will follow.

2. Accountability

We encourage our clients to take ownership of their health and fitness goals and aim to provide the platform and tools to unlock their true potential.

3. Community

The Performance Method is a welcoming environment where people aren’t judged by how much weight they lift or how they look. People are truly invested in one another, and where these relationships can extend far beyond the gym’s walls. Our clients look forward to coming into the gym, giving it their absolute best and enjoying a chinwag between sets or over a post workout coffee.

4. Education

Our belief is that everyone should be able to move well if equipped with the right information and knowledge. Our coaches provide this by explaining the science behind performance and rehabilitation simply to our clients. In our view, the way we move is often poorly performed across all facets of training (particularly in the weight room). Injuries often occur due to a lack of education and understanding about how the human body works and our coaches seek to fix this problem.
